ate some vettes
this morning i went on a breakfast run with 10 vettes. cruising down the highway toward the spot, we decided to open them up a little. i have known these guys for a few months now and have never really shown them what my car is capable of. game on... i was up against a c5 with cam and head work done. i heard him down shift from about a 70 roll- i dropped it into 3rd, punched it and watched him get smaller in my mirror. when we arrived at the restaraunt, he told me that he wasnt entirely ready when i took off on him, and figured there was no way in hell he would catch me anyway. needless to say, they were impressed.
on the way home we started playing again. this time 2 of them were ready to go. same guy from before and a c5 z06 with cam and a few other mods. we started evenly this time, but from 3rd gear on i pulled away smoothly. since the rb likes to shift at motorcycle rpm's i clearly had the edge when they shifted through 4th-5th-6th and i was still in 4th. i am sure they will have plenty to say the next time we meet up.

Yes I believe a vid is in order lol. Had a modified C6 get me from a dig once but i was bone stock, and by bone stock I mean BONE stock lol, I was on 300zx wheels then. One day ill find him again and brush him off lol.
