How I knew the Skyline was the car for me - After not having a sports car for 4 years because of some sacrifices I had to make I finally decided it was time again. My first thought was a Supra, Corvette or EVO which were all in my price range until I met a guy named JJ with a Bayside Blue R34 GTR V-Spec. A Skyline became the top choice for my next car, don't get me wrong the other cars are great to but none as well rounded as a GTR! I had never been in a 500hp car that stuck to the road like it was on rails in all gears at full throttle until a ride in a GTR with upgraded twin Apexi turbines. To bad the R34 was way out of my price range so I decide a R33 GTR was the car for me! After waiting a long and hard time for my car it finally arrived at my door step. A Black Beauty 1997 R33 GTR V-Spec with a cheap front mount, blown Tein coil overs, Beat up Tanabe Exhaust and best of all factory Nissan Xenon head lights!
So the modifications began from factory twins (300hp) to HKS 2530's (530hp) and now a Single Greddy T88 (704hp). I am still not happy and will be looking to break the 1000hp mark soon! This video is gay but you can see my car on the road in it well. I was screwing around on 93 octane, low boost and fowled plugs against a 2008 Viper. I didn't want to go but they talked me into it, kind of got caught up in the moment.
