Default R34 GTT to GTR conversion or GTR to GTT?

If I get this new job I'm applying for, I'm gonna try to find an R34 GTT and put the GTR body conversion pieces.

Is that more complicated than I think? I'm thinking that I can just buy the GTR front panels and supports ie Fenders, Hood, bumpers, hood hinges, bumper support, headlights, etc. and for the rear i think there is a company that makes over fenders that I can mold on to match the GTR rear with the GTR rear bumper of course. Then I'll probably get some LMGT4s to really set it off.

Or would it be easier to get a kaizo GTR, R34 RB25DET complete motorset (motor, turbos, accessories, trans, wiring, and ecu), and the missing lights and rims not found on the kaizos?

The thing I'm trying to accomplish is a RWD SKYLINE GTR. I'm not a fan of AWD. I just like the ease and simplicity of a RWD drivetrain.

I'm thinking the Kaizo w/ RB25det motorset is the easy route, but will the wiring of the chassis match the ecu without having to rewire anything. Will it be direct bolt in?
Because I was thinking the R34 RB26DETT motorset will be all i needed to get that car moving with ease, but like I said. Not a fan of AWD.
Maybe I can get an RB26DETT motor and an 25 trans.

I was thinking of doing the same. However, as posted in the thread I created, it really all depends on what you want to do with the ride. I want to be in the 500whp range, and I know with the RB26, that is fairly easy to do, but on a RWD, traction starts to be a factor from what the other guys say. It might be worth it to go with the GTR Unibody. Remember, you have the ability on the GTR to unplug (and Im sorry the terminology is escaping me atm) something from the computer to make it RWD instead of AWD. But again, it depends on what you are looking to do. As RHD 4 LIFE said "To each his own" =)

yea its supposed to be pretty hard on the transfer case of the transmission to do that on the r33 and r34 from what ive always been told....better to just get an RB25 transmission thats RWD and just leave it at that

probably easyer to get a GTR and just remove the front drive shaft

dont know if that will have any negative effects on the transmission though

i know some guys that do that here to dyno their gtr's

problem is though, the GTR unibody is 50K.... just the body. I love the GTR, but Im leaning more towards the GTT and do a complete build on it. Should be fun =) and will be less of a cost to do a complete build up than to get the GTR stock.

Maybe one day I will own the GTR R34....

If you want your R34 GTT to look like a GTR you may want to look at this:

500whp on rwd isn't anything to be scared of. don't drive like a retard and ur all set. i'd be more scared of 350whp on fwd than 500whp on rwd.
